HOW DO CONTAPS CARDS WORK?
All of our cards have an NFC chip in them that wirelessly transmits your information. This works in a very similar way to contactless payments that you may already be familiar with like Apple Pay and Google Pay. When tapped on compatible phones it will bring up a link to your fully customisable profile. From here users can download and import your contact details directly onto their phones.
WILL PEOPLE NEED AN APP TO USE MY CARD?
Absolutely not. Neither you or the person using your card will require an app download for this to work. Contaps cards are completely cross platform. They are just at home on iPhones as they are on Android devices.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMEONE DOESN'T HAVE A COMPATIBLE PHONE?
Fortunately that is becoming an increasingly rare problem, nearly all phones manufactured today have NFC built in and it has been standard to do so now for a good few years. For anyone that does still have an old phone however there will always be your QR code or the direct URL to fall back on. For a full list of NFC compatible phones, please check here.
WILL I NEED TO PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE?
No, all of our features that are currently available are included and you will not need to pay extra to use them.
WHERE DO I ADD MY LOGO/DESIGN?
Once purchased you will receive an email for a design brief from our design team. We have some preset templates to choose from or you can supply your own artwork if you’d prefer. If you are still not sure our designers can put something together for you to fit in nicely with your brand image. Once you are all happy with how it will look we will get your personalised card into production.
HOW DO I ADD OR CHANGE MY DETAILS?
Once you have purchased your own Contaps card you will receive an email with your own log on details. Simply click the Log In button at the top of our website then on the Contaps Card tab fill in your information. Make sure to personalise it by adding on your own touches, like adding social media. If you want to change or update your details you can do this by just logging back in and making the relevant changes. Your card will never be out of date again!
