By accessing Contaps or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Our service
Contaps supplies NFC-enabled business cards and related digital profile, lead capture, analytics, and team management features. Features may change over time as we improve the platform.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login details secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or pose a security risk.
Orders and payment
- Prices are shown at checkout in GBP unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is processed securely via our payment provider. Your order is confirmed once payment is successful.
- Physical card production times are estimates; see our FAQs and order communications for current lead times.
- Custom artwork and production notes must not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data without authorisation.
- Interfere with the security or performance of the platform.
- Harvest contacts or data in violation of applicable marketing or privacy laws.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a licence to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the service (for example, showing your digital card and printing your physical card).
Intellectual property
The Contaps brand, website, software, and materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as permitted by these terms.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may occasionally affect the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant order in the twelve months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Refunds
Our money-back guarantee is described on our website and at checkout. Statutory consumer rights under UK law also apply to qualifying purchases.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
